Raceday Companion offers an expert Horse Racing consultant hire for stag dos, charity events and special celebrations.
With existing branding that incorporated the iconography of the racing post, the logo for Raceday Companion worked on some levels but was in need of a refresh to communicate the business more clearly and establish a more contemporary style for the brand.
One of the main changes was to the style of font used; instead of a bland plain typeface for the logo, we used a simple flapper font to give a classic look. We then coupled this with a 3D extruded version of the font in lucky bright red for the new tagline: ‘Fun, Advice & Insight’. This tagline replaced, ‘Making your day more fun’ to give prospective customers a clearer idea of what was on offer from Raceday Companion. The tagline used was also considerably shorter and snappier, making the logo easier and quicker to take in.
The blurred horseracing image was also added to the background to give more context and add another dynamic feature to this updated logo design.
Other work for Raceday Companion included the design and print of branded betting slips which built upon the styling of the logo to create an identity for the brand that was easily translated across other print marketing materials and online.
