Munchy Seeds has been a valued client of ours for many years now. Our trusted relationship means that we get to work on an exciting and diverse range of projects for this truly unique brand.
Our most recent work with them involved a brand refresh across all Munchy Seeds lines and products. This included refreshing the logo and devising the new strapline, ‘tasty little toasted treats’ as seen opposite.
With the latest brand refresh, we have updated some of the names for the different ranges and used a new font across all flavours. We have also introduced a white section to the packaging where the logo is now presented in the main colour of the pack (rather than the previous white font used) allowing the brand name stand out more. A much-loved brand, the changes were subtle improvements designed to strengthen their already solid reputation and character. This is how Munchy Seeds summed up this new look packaging to their loyal following:
‘We’ve kept the classic colours of all your favourite tasty little toasted treats and topped them with a clean swish of white to make them really pop when you’re out and about!’
Other changes to the design included the addition of a bite-effect style divide to fit in with the ‘Munchy’ theme and a packaging window allowing the consumer to see the product clearly before purchase, as seen on the ‘rip and tip’ sachets opposite. Another important feature of these designs was the inclusion of the nutrition indicators at the top of the packaging, informing prospective consumers of the high fibre, iron and vitamin E benefits. Towards the bottom of this packaging, there’s just enough space to publicize endorsement from the Great Taste Awards. We also paid great attention to the reverse of the packs, making the overall design more interesting with the addition of green panels, more bite marks and more examples of the product’s health benefits.
The slim packaging of these sachets suits the products place in the snack category. Compact with an easy tear feature, this packaging makes it an appealing healthy snack that’s great to eat on the go.
We also created new packaging designs for both variety and single flavour multi-packs as shown opposite and below. Continuing the theme of displaying the product clearly for the consumer, this packaging incorporates a cut-out window.

As the company has expanded, Munchy Seeds introduced new product lines including their ‘Choccy’ sub range of healthy snacks which we helped deliver packaging for. Our input included brand development, art direction, photography, retouching, packaging concepts and artworking.
Before that, we were also involved in earlier update to packaging for existing lines from Munchy Seeds, as well as the design of some packaging solutions for the then newly introduced products such as Pumpkin Seed Oil, Gift Boxes and Seed Shakers.
Aside from packaging, we have also created graphics for coupon flyers and magazine ads as well as vehicle signage promoting bright, lively and individual personality of the brand.
